South Germany
This movie takes you on a visit to the south of Germany. We visit the Bodensee, which is mainly situated in the Baden Wurttemberg area, and the Allgau in Bavaria. We start our adventure in the historic city of Konstanz. Here the Rhine, which flows through the middle of the Bodensee, seperates Konstanz in Germany and Kreuslingen in Switzerland. The village of Radolfzell is next and we follow the Rhine to Schaffhausen where we visit the famous waterfalls. We return to the Bodensee and visit Bodman, Uberlingen, Uhldingen, Meersburg and Friedrichshafen; all are found in the Baden Wurttemberg district. Continuing on we arrive in Lindau, part of the Bavarian province. This old historic city is positioned on a small island in the Bodensee and you can visit it by crossing a bridge. Oberstdorf is our next stop located in the Allgau district. Oberstdorf is famous for its windersport but it attract just as many tourists in the summer months. Pfonten is stunningly beautiful and placed at the foot of the famous Alps; just like Fussen, a further 10 kms down the road. On the highest peak in Germany, we complete our journey, on top of the Sugspitze near Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
