Western Australia

In this episode we take you to Western Australia, this state has lots to offer and many dventures await us.We start in Perth, the most isolated city in the world and the capital of Western Australia.  Fremantle is our first port of call and we follow the coastline to Bunbury.  We travel through the Margaret River area, well known for its wineries.  Next on our list is Cape Leeuwin, this cape is famous for its VOC history.  As we journey further south we encounter the mighty Kari forests, these trees can reach a height of 90 metres.  Following the most dramatic coastline in Australia, we drive our campervan from Albany to Esperance.  In Esperance, the ocean is a stunning turquoise colour and, if you're lucky, you might catch a glimpse of dolphins at play.  If you fancy a spot of gold mining, you need to visit Norseman and Kalgoorlie. We return, via Wave Rock near Hyden, to Perth.  Here we change our luxury camper for a 4 wheel drive camper to explore the northern parts of Western Australia.   Before reaching Broome, we pass through many townships with a rich Dutch history.  We drive through beautiful state forests and along magnificent beaches.  In Derby we enter the legendary Gibb River Road and drive through the heart of the Kimberleys, famous for its canyons and rock  formations.  After driving  through Wyndham, we end our expedition in Kununurra.
