Malaysia Sarawak
Sarawak
and
Sabah
are farming
East-Malaysia. James Brook from
Great Britain
brought peace and
order into this country around the year 1840. A large area of
this country consists of mystical forests in which the cannibals
ruled. On our trip, we saw proof of English domination in
several places. We visited the capital Kuching from where Mr
Brook governed at that time. Heavy traffic and modern
architecture now dominate the classic buildings of Kuching.
Along the trip, you get a taste of the
Sarawak
Bako
National Park
with its large
variety of fauna and flora. From there on we go and stay with
the Ibans, there group of people live predominantly along the
rivers in “long-houses”. A scenic flight over the
Mula
National Park
made us realise
how extensive the jungle of
Borneo
is. By boat and on
foot we explore the area and come across some caves. We are
astounded by the enormous size of them. In this film we try to
show you the impressive beauty of this country.
