From time immemorial a
pilgrim’s route leads through
Belgium
and
France
to Santiago
de Compostela in
Northern Spain
. Through the ages
millions of people have made this pelgrimage. In our film we follow
the route from the
Pyrenees
through
Spain
. “Camino de
Santiago” it says on stone posts and signs along the path that leads
along high mountains and across hot arid plains alternating with fresh
green scenery. Castles, old monasteries and beautiful churches offer
us a moment’s rest during journey, made mainly on foot in former
days, but nowadays by bike as well.
