Cyprus
is a sunny and
hospitable island in the
Mediterranean Sea . In this
video we’ll show you the historic places of this country and the
everyday way of living of the Greek-Cypriots. The “Green Line” has
separated the Greek Cypriots from the Turks-Cypriots for over 25
years. We start our journey in the capital
Nicosia
. This city has been
renamed Levkosia. In modern Ayia Napa you find the charm and
nostalgic of a fishing village that it once was. We stay at the coast
and look at Larnaka where you still experience the influence of the
Turks when they were in power. In Limassol we wander around the very
old part of the city, where after we set off to the area where
Aphrodite arose from the sea. After seeing the coastline, we start
towards the Troodos mountain range where the downfallen Mosques in the
small villages remind us of the Turks neighbourhoods. In Paphos we
walk along the impressive diggings and finish the trip with a
well-deserved rest on the
beach
