"British Columbia & Canadese Rocky's"
For this film we go to Canada and with a campervan we make an adventurous but comfortable trip through the province of British Columbia and the Canadian Rocky's. After a short stopover in Vancouver we make a short crossing to Victoria on Vancouver Island. After that Higway number 1 leads us through magnificent woods where the timber industry is an important source of income for many people, such as to be seen in little places like Duncan and Chemainus.After that highway number 4 goes straight through McMillan Provincial Park with its enormous forestries which are sometimes hundreds of years years old.The trans Canadian Highway, a rail line and the Frazer River wind their way together through the sometimes narrow Frazer Canyon.The magnificent Glacier National Park and the Yoho National Park on the border of Alberta are also on our program. There is a big chance of coming up against a bear or a wolf here.We have not been disappointed.We continue further to Alberta and the Rocky Mountains, where from the top of Whistlers Mountain we have a wide view of the Athabasca Valley and Jasper National park.Finally the slopes of Whistler come into view, the largest winter sports place in Canada
